Digitized Operations for Sustainable Process Industries Workshop, 18th October 2018 in Frankfurt

This workshop was co-organised by the SPIRE projects MONSOON, FUDIPO, CoPRo and COCOP, with the objective of presenting the EU perspective on digital operations in process industries, focusing on plant-wide monitoring and control of data-intensive processes.

In the workshop (see agenda), the COCOP partners presented the goals and first outcomes of the project with three talks:

  • COCOP – Coordinating Optimisation of Complex Processes (Matti Vilkko - Tampere University of Technology)
  • Optimisation and scheduling in Copper plant (Mikko Korpi – OUTOTEC)
  • Communication architecture for plant wide optimisation (Carlos Leyva Guerrero – IDENER)
